Join Select Medical’s Financial Planning & Analysis team and help support the financial performance of hospitals across the country. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with Finance and operational leaders to drive meaningful impact through analytics, forecasting, and strategic support.

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial success of our acute inpatient hospitals by:

Providing accurate financial forecasting and reporting to support operational decision-makingAnalyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, drive performance, and enhance patient satisfactionSupporting the development and presentation of the annual inpatient budgetPartnering with Directors of Finance and Business Development to prepare pro forma analyses for acquisitions, start-ups, and relocationsAnalyzing consolidated financial statementsCompleting market analysis and calculating contract rates, including evaluating the impact of regulatory changesDelivering complex ad hoc analyses for hospital leadership

 

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management3–5 years of progressive business or financial analysis/reporting experienceStrong MS Excel skillsAbility to independently research, analyze, and communicate financial informationStrong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Helpful, but not required:

Experience in the healthcare industryWorking knowledge of ORACLE G/L, ADI, or HMS

 

Work Environment

This role is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (17055) and operates in an on-site/hybrid model. You’ll enjoy a collaborative campus setting with outdoor rest areas and walking trails—perfect for quick breaks or recharging during the day.
