Job Title: Financial Analyst (entry level) Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing and updating sales incentive structures, analyzing sales trends, and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like SQL, SAP SAC, and Excel to support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities + Oversee and update sales incentive structures within internal ERP platforms, ensuring accurate accruals and timely payouts. + Monitor and analyze sales volume and revenue trends to inform accrual adjustments. + Leverage tools such as SQL (SSMS), SAP SAC, and Excel to generate customized reports and support data-driven decision-making. + Collaborate with the Sales team to validate incentive eligibility and resolve discrepancies. + Deliver regular and ad hoc performance reports to sales leadership and field teams. + Process and reconcile credit memos, ensuring compliance with internal approval workflows and SAP documentation. + Maintain and update customer pricing structures across all sales divisions, ensuring alignment with divisional approval protocols. + Coordinate the implementation of annual pricing programs and one-time pricing requests. + Maintain a comprehensive database of pricing agreements, amendments, and approvals. + Provide executive-level reporting on pricing and incentive program performance. + Contribute to the development of improved data management and reporting practices within the team. + Ensure all activities align with company policies and operational standards. Essential Skills + Strong written and verbal communication abilities. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. + Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets. + Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, Outlook, and Salesforce. + Familiarity with SAP, BPC; Python experience is a plus but not required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of one year of experience in a corporate or operational analyst role. + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. + Experience with Excel pivot tables, vlookups, and manipulating large data sets. + Open to entry-level candidates with a degree; internship experience preferred but not required. Work Environment The work environment is a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite and two days remote initially, transitioning to three days remote once established. The team is small, consisting of two analysts reporting to a senior manager. The office is located in Santa Ana, featuring low cubicles in an open pit type setting. The culture is very collaborative, requiring strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with cross-functional departments such as credit or sales. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
