Financial Analyst & Controller

Financial Analyst & Controller We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst & Controller to join our Prague-based finance team. In this role, you’ll work in an international environment as part of a collaborative, friendly team that is passionate about what we do. What the day will look like: + Manage general ledger and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded + Handle the completion of monthly closing in accordance with US GAAP and annual financial statements in accordance with CZ GAAP + Drive the financial close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete reporting + Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls + Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities + Coordinate external audit and tax processes + Analyze and interpret financial information to support management decision-making + Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for senior leadership + Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings and reporting + Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff + Report directly to CFO Skills and experience that will leed to sucess: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 3–4 years of experience in accounting firm (audit, assurance, or advisory), ideallyin Big4 + Strong knowledge of accounting standards (CZ, US GAAP). + Solid understanding of accounting processes, controls, and financial analysis + High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities + Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills + Proficiency in English How this opportunity is different Working at Aon brings you an opportunity to work for a market leader in the highly attractive reinsurance industry with regional headquarters in Prague, while engaging with people all over the world.
