Finance Analyst

This role under the Semiconductor Business Group (SPG) will support financial and operations activities & projects associated with Install & Warranty, and possibly other Operations support under the SPG Operations Finance Group.  The individual coming into this role will collaborate with not only functions within the Finance organization, but with Operations and Engineering functions as well.  The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with working both up and down the chain of command, using data to develop & create actionable & useful analytics, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and timely completion of key deliverables related to regular business cycles.

Responsibilities

Guide/Coach team on achieving their goals and objectivesDemonstrates in-depth understanding of accounting principlesCollaborate with cross-functional business partners to deliver solutions on business issuesSeek out and drive continuous process improvements to the I&W processAutomation and other Finance or Company initiativesPerform ad-hoc analysis for Finance and Operations for them to complete and understand forecasts and actualsResponsible for supporting all Audit and SOX compliance activitiesRepresent I&W Finance on councils and teams and provide support of initiatives and resolving business issuesCompleting reconciliations for all I&W reserve balance sheet accounts for multiple business unitsPerform reconciliations using multiple information systemsReview and monitor systemic I&W set ups for accuracy with IW Ops manager reviewsSupport any updates to warranty extensionsPrepare and process, journal entries, inter-company billings and other transactionsPrepare and analyze business unit or segment over/under analysisPrepare and present all I&W data by tool to the segment controller for each accounting cycleBusiness partnering with I&W operations to drive targeted cost reduction and compliance to all accounting policiesAdherence to standard Best-Known Methods and initial escalation owner for all tactical issuesWeekly monitoring of recurring I&W support activitiesValidate any risk or opportunities to communicate to segment financeSupport any ad hoc analysis as needed from the segment Key business support to other finance functional groups Review transactions and identify possible issues, determine whether to escalate or resolveImprove current processesVariance AnalysisResponsible for activities that include but are not limited to forecasting, reporting, and quarter end close

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
