D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Financial Analyst. The right candidate will analyze and assimilate financial data into useful management tools. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday, in the Spokane Valley WA office. The annual compensation for this role is $85,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, plus quarterly bonuses

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist with the divisional business plan process, ensuring quality, accuracy, and analytical reviewCompile departmental budgets into GMA/GPA formatOversee project profitability spanning the life of a projectEquip management with profitability analysis and reporting, including actual to enable informed decision-makingIdentify problem areas. Evaluate, recommend, and implement alternative solutionsProvide accounting support in addition to managing special projectsAssist with month-end closing and analysis of resultsPrepare various reports and analyses required by CorporateProvide financial advice to managersConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Supervisory Responsibilities

May directly managestwo or more employees in the Accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
