Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description

This role is designed to assist with a backlog of Capital Project Close Outs. The position is available immediately and extends through the end of 2026.

ResponsibilitiesFollow up with internal stakeholders for close out approvals and conduct final review and reconciliation of project financials.Support project and asset data clean-up.Finalize all financial obligations, reconcile costs, and release final payments to ensure projects are formally closed.Settle vendor invoices, release retainage, audit expenses, and generate final financial reports.Ensure all expenditures are allowable and recorded before the official closure date.Essential SkillsProject accounting experience is a must.Minimum of 1 year of financial analysis experience, with knowledge of project lifecycles.Proficiency with mid-large ERP systems.Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency with vLookups, xLookups, and pivot tables.Additional Skills & QualificationsAccounting designation such as CPA, CMA, CGA, CA, ACCA, or ACA is a nice to have.Experience in project accounting.Experience within Crown Corporation or Public Sector.Familiarity with capital projects and fixed assets.Work Environment

The position is based at the Sapperton Office, with one day in the office and four days working from home. Initially, in-office training is required, transitioning to a mostly remote schedule. The role requires close collaboration with other Financial Analysts and Project Managers on the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Westminster, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.03 - $46.15/hr.
