Job Description
This hybrid Financial Analyst (FP&A) role focuses on supporting national account customers and commercial finance by delivering accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will manage payments, analyze large datasets, and provide actionable insights that guide sales, pricing, and strategic decisions. The position offers a blend of onsite collaboration and remote work, ideal for a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys partnering cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage payments to national account customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies.Extract, compile, and validate financial and operational data from multiple systems to support decision-making.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable insights.Develop and maintain forecasts for contra sales, including trade spend, discounts, and promotional allowances.Partner with the sales team to provide financial guidance, performance tracking, and decision support for commercial initiatives.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Perform ad hoc FP&A analysis to support business initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost optimization efforts.Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership to communicate financial performance and recommendations.Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and reporting efficiency to enhance accuracy, speed, and usability.Apply strong financial acumen to interpret results and recommend actions that drive business performance.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational objectives.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree.At least 1 year of work experience in an FP&A and/or analytical role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and financial modeling.Experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.Ability to analyze trends and perform detailed trend analysis on large datasets.Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions.Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to interpret financial and operational data.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Process improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing tools, reports, and workflows.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Experience supporting sales or commercial finance functions, particularly for national accounts.Familiarity with revenue recognition, trade spend, or contra revenue concepts.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Experience working with financial systems or BI tools to automate and streamline reporting.Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.Self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently and take initiative on new analyses and projects.Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with three days onsite and two days remote each week. The position involves frequent collaboration with sales, finance, and other cross-functional teams, as well as regular interaction with financial and operational systems such as ERP platforms and business intelligence tools. You will work with large datasets, advanced Excel models, and dashboards to support planning, reporting, and analysis. The environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, offering opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting, and contribute directly to business decisions while maintaining a healthy balance of in-person and remote work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
