Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst to support day-to-day financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities for U.S. operations. This temporary role will be instrumental in maintaining continuity during a leadership transition.

Responsibilities

Support financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.Ensure continuity during leadership transitions by maintaining accurate financial records.Present financial results and key drivers confidently to leadership.Engage in month-end close processes including accruals, allocations, and journal entry review/approval.Handle hands-on accounting tasks such as journal entries, payroll support, and cash management.Develop and deliver executive presentations of financial analysis results.Collaborate remotely and provide Teams-based training/support.

Essential Skills

Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting experience.Expertise in month-end close processes with a 5-day close cycle.Hands-on accounting capability.Proficiency in financial analysis and executive presentation skills.ERP system experience and learning agility.Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data validation.Independent work style with strong communication skills.Ability to perform under tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in project-based, industrial, or manufacturing environments.Exposure to financial consolidation or reporting tools (training provided).Experience presenting financial results to Sr. leadership.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work five days a week for the first three months to support training and ramp-up, transitioning to a hybrid schedule of three onsite and two remote days after onboarding.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.29 - $57.69/hr.
