Our Finance Shared Services (FSS), located in Bengaluru, India is looking to strengthen its teams in preparation of an imminent Global finance transformation with exciting new positions being created in multiple functions.

Your rolePrepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standardsPerform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.Preparing and posting of prepayments and recharge journalsAssist in preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysisReview and proactively resolve issues relating to missing time and associated earningsThorough review of overheads and proactive challenge and resolution of issues and errorsUnderstand, monitor, and communicate key drivers behind the salary control account processReconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsReview and validate lease agreements, including rent escalations, incentives, dilaps, and lease modifications.About youProfessional & Technical skills:
3 to 6 years of experience working in the accounting function of a sizeable international companyTechnically proficient in preparing and reviewing management accounts, budget and forecastsGood inter-personal skills and comfortable in dealing with senior colleaguesExperience in working for a consultancy business, especially an engineering consultancy, would be a significant advantageKnowledge and experience of the following would be an advantage: Oracle ERP; Oracle EPM (ePBCS)Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.) and exposure to Power BIAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize own workloadStrong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver resultsGreat attention to detail and accuracyGood team player with positive attitudeStrong planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze information and processes.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree – Preferably B’Com / Master’s degreePart qualified CA, CMA, ACCA (not mandatory)Additional Information:
Working hours: 10am – 7.30pm (India Standard Time) but flexibility will be required.
