Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr Financial Analyst to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the operations management team to drive financial performance and achieve profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to supporting decision-making processes through financial insights. Responsibilities: • Monitor daily operations and actively participate in meetings to ensure alignment with financial goals. • Conduct detailed analyses of direct and indirect operational costs to identify trends and opportunities. • Evaluate inventory levels and provide actionable recommendations to optimize logistics and inventory management. • Analyze key performance indicators to detect risks and uncover opportunities for improvement. • Assist in controlling expenditures and provide explanations for budget variances to support management decisions. • Develop business plans for production equipment acquisitions and monitor capital expenditures. • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including cost variance and allocation analysis. • Lead the annual inventory count and ensure accurate reporting for the site. • Manage accounting for government incentives and ensure compliance with related regulations. • Recommend and implement improvements to internal controls to enhance financial processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred. • At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment or public accounting with manufacturing clients. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools. • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Solid understanding of cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial reporting. • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements.
