Financial Analyst

About The Role
In this role 12-month contract role, you will be responsible for the daily sales reporting process for Australia & New Zealand, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.

Additionally, you will play a supporting role in providing financial analysis for the ANZ business as an integral part of the ANZ FP&A team. Acting as a key liaison between various stakeholders, including Sales, FP&A, Divisional Commercial Finance. You will contribute to optimising performance and driving financial success across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Conduct reviews of sales, COGS and selling expenses against budgets and forecasts to identify trends and inconsistencies

Own the daily sales reporting process for Australia & New Zealand, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.

Collaborate with internal managers to gather critical data for the budgeting process

Support SOX compliance and maintain audit documentation for internal and external requirements

Develop standardised reports and analysis tools 

Provide ad hoc financial analysis 

Drive process improvement across the wider finance team

 

Our ideal candidate may have the following:

CA/CPA qualification or progression towards it is advantageous

Advanced experience with Excel and financial modelling

Knowledge of Power Pivot and Power Query is beneficial

A passion for analysing data and providing commercial insights

A collaborative approach, comfortable communicating with stakeholders at various levels of the business

Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
