(100% Remote) Program Financial Analyst

Job Description

The Program Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting customer programs by ensuring the successful daily execution of production and engineering development programs. This position provides financial support to Program Managers and Finance Leadership, focusing on program cost analysis, cost estimating, cash flow monitoring, gross margin analysis, and variance analysis/reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain program accuracy with timely revenue recognition, invoicing, cost, funding, gross margins, cash flow, and programmatic risks.Monitor costs weekly to ensure actuals are within budget and charged to correct cost accounts.Support the generation of monthly financial status reports, monthly/quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), funding tracking reports, internal financial reporting, and submit invoices to customers.Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), time-phased budgets and schedules, Estimate to Completes (ETCs), analyses, and interpretations.Serve as proposal pricing analyst.Provide cost analysis and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) support to Program Manager and Control Account Managers (CAMs).Prepare financial contracts data requirements list (CDRLs) for timely delivery.Interface with the program team to develop and status schedule requirements, including updates as required.Prepare internal program review presentations for management.

Essential Skills

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.3+ years of experience in the defense industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table and database analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.2+ years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience with government accounting processes.Propricer (proposal software) experience is preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proven team leader with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.Oracle ERP and COBRA experience are a plus.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility in work location. The team operates on a 9-hour workday schedule and enjoys every other Friday off. You will join a close-knit team with a strong culture, working alongside five other individuals who each manage their portfolio of programs. This position supports two Department of Defense (DOD) programs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $50.48/hr.
