Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The **Financial** Analyst will serve as an integral member of the VCP Medical Economics Team responsible for performance measurement and improvement, analytics/reporting, and financial process workflow to help VCP manage key contract deliverables for the clinically integrated network. You will support population health data interpretation and visualization, distribution and payment reconciliation, and the overall internal accounting workflow aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. ·Contract Management and Network Attribution developing monthly provider attribution files, network reimbursement budget and participant benchmarks ·Distribution Methodology & Payment Reconciliation ·Operations Finance including budget analysis preparation, financial summaries ensuring accuracy of accounting functions ·Prepare business related analyses and research on financial data to identify trends and opportunities that drive management or clinical initiatives ·Aide in executing reporting processes required to support population health initiatives, such as physician profiling, patient registries, cost/quality/utilization metrics, risk analytics and trending **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field with quantitative focus required + Three year’s work experience in healthcare insurance, population health, medical economics, bookkeeping, or operational data analysis in a healthcare setting + Expertise in business intelligence reporting platforms, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, with advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access + Experience working on projects related to medical management, population health, or value-based care, and developing performance trending reporting across multiple data sets + Proficiency in database management (SQL) and programming languages (Python & R), as well as EMR or claims data management, considered a plus + Possess strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills used to solve complex business problems. + Excellent presentation and communication skills [verbal and written] are essential + You will portray confidence, a sense of humor, and positive energy. + Handle multiple and potentially conflicting assignments, demands and priorities to meet required deadlines + Demonstrate an ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively on small project teams SCHEDULE: Mon – Fri, 8a - 4:30p, hybrid **Virginia Care Partners** is an innovative, physician-led network collaborating to change the way healthcare is delivered in the Richmond and Tri-cities area.
