We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on finance professional with a strong work ethic, a flexible attitude, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will support the Merchant Services Finance team in producing and delivering financial and operational analysis to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities + Support internal customer groups and controllers in finance and accounting matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and control. + Collaborate with functional leaders and finance partners to build scalable financial processes and business metrics. + Provide financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners, including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations. + Assist in strategic operational planning, addressing identified risks and opportunities for the business team. + Write system queries to gather financial data and perform data mining and analysis using tools like MS Excel and SQL. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. + 5+ years of relevant finance experience. + Advanced knowledge of Excel. + Experience with SQL is a strong plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Advanced analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. + Strong work ethic with a desire to exceed expectations. + Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication. + Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving. + Comfortable handling large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management. Work Environment The ideal candidate will work 100% onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. However, remote candidates may be considered. The position offers an opportunity for extension and potential conversion to full-time employment based on performance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
