Provide key support in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role will focus on variance analysis, forecasting support, and management reporting, while also assisting with select accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. The position is integral in evaluating current processes during a Sage Intacct implementation to identify and adjust inefficiencies. Additionally, the role involves acting as a liaison between AASCB and the ERP vendor.
Responsibilities
+ Support the completion of the monthly financial reporting process, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and management reports.
+ Play a key role in budgeting, reforecasting, and related processes.
+ Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis, interpret results, and highlight risks and opportunities for leadership.
+ Assist in forecasting and financial modeling of key revenue and expense drivers to support business decisions.
+ Develop and maintain ad hoc analyses and reports to provide insights into organizational performance and trends.
+ Prepare clear financial summaries and presentations to support leadership discussions.
+ Collaborate with colleagues through accounting and financial reporting systems upgrade process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+ 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or accounting.
+ Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
+ Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is a plus.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy; not satisfied with ambiguity or 'good enough'.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment
The accounting team consists of around 10 people. The dress code is business casual. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours between 8am and 5pm, traditionally totaling 37.5 hours a week, but flexible to 40 hours if needed. The position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.60 - $66.66/hr.
