Financial Analyst – Crane Hire & Heavy Lifting Industry

Key Responsibilities

Analyse current and historical financial data to identify trends and opportunities.Develop financial models and reports to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.Build and maintain financial models for CAPEX proposals.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across branches.Provide financial insights to stakeholders and leadership that support strategic and operational decision-making.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external use.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.Support ad-hoc financial projects, investment evaluations, and profitability analysis.

About You

CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or EconomicsProven experience in asset-heavy industries such as construction, logistics, or plant hireStrong financial modelling, problem solving and analytical skills, with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365), Excel, and Power BICommercially astute, with the ability to translate complex financial data into insightful information for our operations teams.Skilled communicator with a track record of influencing stakeholders across operational and functional levels.Proactive thinker with a passion for continuous improvement.Advanced level excel skills.
