Collaboration Acts on individual responsibilities, objectives, and performance expectations in support of team goals Leveraging individual skills and expertise to support the team in problem solving, decision making, and continuous improvement Offers and seeks feedback on opportunities that will improve skills and efficiency for themselves and their teammates Demonstrates a sense of commitment and support to direct teammates and the larger SVP team Communication Demonstrates consistent, effective communication with teammates, other departments, field directors and hospital leaders, both written and verbal Establishes rapport, and builds and maintains effective working relationships Practices attentive and active listening, and asks questions or confirms expectations with department leaders Proactive in requesting constructive feedback from supervisors Continuous Improvement Meets agreed upon individual and team goals and objectives Understands how the team’s priorities align with company goals Provides key information about their unique responsibilities in support of the formulation of strategies, tactics and deadlines Continuously examines personal effectiveness and seeks to make improvements as needed WAG Values Demonstrates respect, integrity, and accountability Treats others with empathy and respect Exemplifies and role models behavior associated with WAG values Partners with the team to focus on solutions Finds a way to say yes Role Specific Tasks: Prepare annual hospital budgets with input from SLT, field directors and historical trends Conduct budget to actual variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, and report relevant findings to seniors Update financial forecasts based on a review of budget to actual variances, changes in historical trends, feedback from SLT and field directors, and new information from other departments Conduct detailed financial analyses and provide insights to supervisors regarding hospital performance Update monthly financial reports and communicate results and insights to supervisors Collaborate with various departments to gather new information that will impact financial results, update forecasts and communicate changes to the team Assist in the preparation of quarterly board of director slides Support accounting with internal and external audits, as needed Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
