Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Winston Salem, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing workflows. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements and collaborate with teams across the organization. Responsibilities: • Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies. • Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. • Communicate with vendors to address payment statuses, resolve billing issues, and maintain strong relationships. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts payable workflows and enhance operational efficiency. • Reconcile accounts payable subledgers with the general ledger and maintain thorough documentation for audits. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable financial regulations. • Utilize financial systems and automation tools to manage transactions and contribute to system enhancements. • Oversee payment schedules, ensuring timely disbursements and handling exceptions effectively. • Support travel and expense reimbursements by assisting employees with submissions and resolving related inquiries. • Provide documentation and assistance during internal or external audits. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounts payable, or a similar role. • Proficiency in accounting software as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management. • Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and deliver actionable insights. • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvements Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
