Financial Analyst

Supports operations department with financial planning/budgeting, forecasting, reporting actuals, and other budgeting requirements for both revenue and SG&A expenses.

Primary Responsibilities

50% Supports operations department owners with financial planning/budgeting, forecasting, reporting actuals, and other budgeting requirements requested by the Manger, Financial Analysis. Meets with and presents to department leaders monthly to review the entire P&L statement from revenue to expenses.

25% Develops complex financial tools in Excel used to analyze business results and inform decision making. Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as requested.

25% Develops metrics and identifies key performance indicators to evaluate business performance. Creates financial scorecards for department leaders.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance/equivalent degree or equivalent work experience.

2. 1-3 years of finance related experience.

3. Advanced Excel and analytical skills required (query and analyze large sets of data).

4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.

5. Ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

6. Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and independently.

7. Professional oral and written communication skills.
