In this hybrid role, you will apply your expertise to evaluate financial risks and provide advanced underwriting analysis, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and standards. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed underwriting evaluations to assess individual risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. • Analyze financial statements and data to make informed decisions regarding risk acceptability and pricing. • Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate financial models and projections. • Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights. • Utilize data mining techniques to uncover trends and opportunities for optimization. • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and business planning. • Review coverages, terms, and conditions to ensure alignment with company objectives. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes impacting financial underwriting. • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and management. • Assist in developing strategies for risk management and improving underwriting processes. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, or a related field. • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and making risk assessments. • Strong skills in financial modeling and variance analysis. • Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools. • Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses and deliver actionable insights. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline preferred.
