Financial Analyst
Hybrid - 3 days in office
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Position Summary:The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the financial health and strategic goals of the organization. This position is responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including internal reporting, transactional analysis, and support for budgeting and compensation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and analyze internal financial reports to support decision-making.
+ Conduct accounting and transactional research to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
+ Perform accounts receivable reserve analysis and assist in the development of reserve methodologies.
+ Administer provider compensation plans, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
+ Complete financial surveys and respond to external data requests.
+ Support various month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
+ Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests related to medical group system initiatives.
+ Participate in the annual budgeting process, including data gathering, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Experience in healthcare finance or medical group operations is a plus.

Qualifications
+ Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Accounting or Finance degree, required.
+ Experience : Minimum one year of experience, required.
+ Licensure/Certification : CPA license or eligibility, preferred.
+ Additional skills required : Excel experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research skills.
+ Additional skills preferred: Experience with interim and annual financial reporting.
