Job Description
The Financial Analyst I will support the analysis and project management of regulated utility activities. This role plays a key part in consolidating forecasts, benchmarking performance, enhancing operational cost efficiency, supporting project execution, managing project debt, and assisting with financial structuring.
ResponsibilitiesConduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including revenue requirement modeling, customer bill impact assessments, discounted cash flow analysis, and financial statement modeling.Evaluate and communicate the financial implications of business decisions, focusing on profitability, financial integrity, and competitive positioning.Support various projects by calculating revenue requirements, net present value (NPV), and customer bill impacts.Provide financial expertise and training to internal departments as needed.Prepare and deliver presentations for Senior and Executive Management.Perform financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.Undertake additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsFinancial analysisForecastingFinancial planning and analysisFinancial modelingProficiency in Microsoft ExcelCost analysisNet Present Value (NPV)Experience with Power BIVlookupExcel pivot tablesMinimum of 2 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Preferred)Solid understanding of basic accounting principlesProficiency in analyzing financial statementsExperience with SAP reporting tools (e.g., BOBJ)Familiarity with Utilities International (UI) softwareWork Environment
The role is based onsite in Juno Beach, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
