Job Description
The primary role of a financial analyst is to conduct quantitative analyses of data affecting the investment programs of both public and private institutions. This position involves analyzing and communicating financial information to clients. With over seven years of experience, the ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities and an advanced understanding of financial and investment planning.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical data.Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for investment decision-making.Examine and interpret data affecting investment programs, including price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.Deliver financial planning and analysis, including business case development.Present financial results and insights to executives and business partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.7+ years of financial and/or accounting experience.Proficiency in verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and critical thinking.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting.Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other related financial software.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in public accounting transitioning into finance is acceptable.Experience in the payments industry is a plus.Understanding of invoices, billing, and AP processes is beneficial.Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and Tableau and/or Power BI.Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion is required; Tableau/Power BI is preferred.Experience in headcount and non-personal expense planning.High attention to detail and organization.Ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively.Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-oriented environment.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $55.00/hr.
