Description
We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Division in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance the organization's financial health. Your expertise will help the company achieve its goals through detailed research, reporting, and innovative recommendations.
Responsibilities:
• Consolidate and evaluate financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, to align with company objectives and financial position.
• Develop financial models, perform benchmarking, and analyze processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Create detailed reports summarizing financial status, risks, and trends to assist in decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth studies on historical, current, and projected business performance to formulate accurate forecasts.
• Identify financial patterns and provide actionable advice to senior analysts and management based on thorough analysis.
• Monitor and compare actual financial results against forecasts to determine variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure data accuracy by reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Stay updated on industry developments and enhance expertise to apply innovative approaches.
• Collaborate with management to shape long-term strategies and policies within the financial scope.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes and develop policies that drive efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and financial tools such as ADP, CRM, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with core accounting principles, including accrual accounting, auditing, and capital management.
• Expertise in budget processes and the ability to manage financial forecasting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• A commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
