**RESPONSIBILITIES** o Support in preparation of financial statements including project profitability analysis and internal financial reports with variance explanations against plan and latest estimates o Perform financial analyses at a project level, GL account level, regional level, as well as a consolidated view of the portfolio o Contribute to preliminary results review during the month-end close to ensure forecast accuracy to the extent possible o Perform project life cycle analytics to improve the forecast accuracy on fee and passthrough revenue and cost burns, throughout the different stages in the life of the project life cycle o Coordinate responses from project financial managers on revenue, and operating leaders on expenses, to explain the variances or changes outside the agreed tolerances. Follow up with the different stakeholders if the explanations provided need further elaboration o Assist in the development of the quarterly business unit operating review presentation for the company’s Sr. leadership o Support reviews of month-end entries such as accruals, and recording topside entries if needed o Ensure compliance with internal financial accounting procedures and policies relevant to the scope of this role **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** o Technical accounting skills o Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as PeopleSoft o Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excel expertise (vlookups, pivots) is a must o Strong analytical and numeracy skills o Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions o Effective verbal and written communication skills o Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients **MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** o +2 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, including exposure to month-end close o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
