HP is seeking a talented finance professional to support the global Procurement organization. This role is responsible for providing FP&A support (Financial Planning Analysis) for the Procurement Finance Organization. Including accounting and reporting activities and ensuring compliance of all processes with US GAAP and SOX controls. The ideal candidate is a team player with accounting knowledge, eager to learn, and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle a varied array of business, accounting and financial challenges. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support on FP&A activities including reporting, calendar management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Prepare and book journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.Partner with Procurement organization to provide financial insights and clarify accounting implications of business decisions.Work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders to drive business outcomes.Ensure financial and accounting activities comply with SOX internal controls.Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements. 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. (MBA / CPA preferred).4+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. 

Knowledge & Skills
• Problem solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn. 

• Effective communication and results oriented. 
• Financial analysis, financial modelling, and financial planning. 
• Accounting, US GAAP, internal controls.

• Proficient in Excel and ERP Systems (SAP preferred). 
• Project management (preferred)
