Role: Financial Analyst
Location: Bucharest Scope of the role:
The person that had this role had received a promotion, so this role is ideal for someone eager to make an impact by transforming data into actionable insights and wants to grow within the company. One of the main tasks is the analysis of company performance - Turnover report. The report is generated in Power BI based on the sales reported monthly by the clients operating in the client assets/buildings. Except for raw data, the report includes calculated operational indicators specific to retail real estate as well as trend, variance and peer analysis of tenants covering multiple properties across various countries. Another tool used for evaluating company performance is the Footfall report which provides data on visitors in shopping centers. This report is also generated in Power BI.

 

The few most important must haves of the best matching candidate:

Strong analytical skills – proven experience in financial analysis, especially around performance tracking, trend analysis, and KPI reporting. Excel proficiency – comfortable using formulas, pivot tables, and comparative data analysis tools – Power BI Experience in business/financial analysis – ideally within leasing, retail, or real estate environments. Ability to interpret commercial data – such as tenant performance, rent/sqm, year-to-date, turnover-based rental structures, and translate them into insights.

 

Responsibilities and duties:

Monitor the completeness and accuracy of data collected from tenants based on trend analysis, diagnosis tests and discussions with colleagues from business teams Analyze trends and variances at country/property/brand level and prepare reports to present the conclusions Check the accuracy of data coming from the internal systems through proper monitoring and raise the issues to the team responsible for the technical maintenance of the report Correlation of contractual terms with tenants and their transposition to the report Develop/adapt the report based on requests from the business users and following organization evolution Participating in the business processes review and to the improvement measures Minor part of the job implies processing of data in xls files.

 

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in economics Min 2 years’ experience in controlling, audit or financial analysis Ability to effectively operate in virtual teams across the region Attention to details, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Easy with technology (working experience in Power BI/Dynamics is nice to have) Good command of English (spoken and written) Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: ~8.000 Ron NET, negociable according to candidate seniority  Meal tickets – 40RON/ticket/day Premium health subscription Performance bonus linked to individual and company performance (calculated and paid once/year)
