General Summary:

The candidate will be supporting the Automotive Business Unit’s quickly growing business. The role is a hybrid finance and accounting role focused on growing and evolving the business processes, including those related to financial modeling & forecasting, ad hoc return-on-investment (ROI), OPEX and accounting impact analyses. The candidate will collaborate directly with BU stakeholders to support the strategic trajectory of the business.

Pricing strategy, financial modeling, and pricing execution

Build, improve, and maintain complex financial modelsPresent financial assumptions, models, and ROITrack and monitor impact of hiring needs and OPEX growth as the business expandsMaintain pricing and deal tracking across key financial systemsOrganize data and create dashboards for ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly presentation of financial performance related to the businessEvaluate accounting impact of the more complex deals in the professional services business and work strategically with the business to steer desirable accounting outcomes through contract structure

Financial planning and analysis (FP&A):

Support quarterly and annual forecasting process with input preparation and analysisAnalyze financial results, key business metrics, and drivers of financial performanceCreate P&L presentations and variance analysesProvide day to day financial support for Automotive BU’s SW and professional services businessAnalyze and evaluate the OPEX impact of deals

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, program management, operations, sales, and legal:

Support new business opportunities and create ad hoc financial models, as necessaryPresent various analyses and financial support to Auto BU senior leadership teamSupport various ad hoc special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting4+ years with a public accounting firmProficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPointStrong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and communication, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in fast-paced environmentOrganized, accurate and detail-orientedTableau and Cognos TM1 (or similar) experience is preferred

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$106,400.00 - $159,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
