Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a junior-level Financial Analyst to join our team. This position provides financial and business analysis support services for the integration and sustainment planning for the Australia F/A-18 (FMS) Program in Lexington Park, MD. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and oversight of financial resources for the program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Deliver financial and accounting support to the Program Office BFM and associated teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
+ Perform detailed cost accounting, budgeting, and funding execution activities to support program and project financial planning.
+ Provide system-level financial support to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of personnel and funding.
+ Conduct in-depth financial analyses and tracking to monitor expenditures, forecast future financial needs, and identify opportunities for cost savings or reallocation.
+ Prepare and deliver financial documentation, reports, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Execute a variety of organizational activities, including special projects and ad hoc data calls, providing timely and accurate financial input.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning, performance measurement, and continuous improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
+ BA with at least (2) years of experience in a business or technical position
+ Must have an active Secret Clearance.
+ Must be able to travel up to 10% to including OCONUS travel/as required by contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior financial analysis/FMS experience of business programs.
+ Experience with DoD contracts and reconciling Obligations
+ Experience with managing budgets, budget execution, and financial reconciliation
+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to advanced Excel skills.
+ Working knowledge with FMS Financial Systems such as the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) to include funding document creation.
+ Working knowledge of Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Shared Data Warehouse (SDW) and Electronic Data Access (EDA)
+ Familiarity with Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL)
+ Familiarity with Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP)
+ Familiarity with Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT)
+ Familiarity with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Shared Data Warehouse (SDW) and Electronic Data Access (EDA)
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
+ 40 hours/week
Compensation:
+ $67,870 - $101,860
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
