Financial Advisor II - Productivity and Labor Management
Job Summary

The Financial Advisor II serves as a key financial and operational partner, providing data-driven insights to support system productivity, labor management, and strategic decision-making. This role develops and maintains productivity reporting, staffing models, and labor budget tools while delivering analytical and technical support to leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with a preference for Industrial Engineering or a related discipline focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.

Essential FunctionsDevelops, maintains, and enhances productivity and operational reports using Power BI.Ensures accuracy, integrity, and consistency of workforce and financial data.Designs and maintains staffing matrices and workforce planning tools to support safe, efficient staffing within labor budgets.Updates and manages labor budget templates, processes, and forecasting models.Analyzes trends in productivity, labor utilization, and operational performance; provides actionable recommendations to leadership.Leads and facilitates educational sessions for hospital personnel on labor management principles and tools.Partners with operational leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and optimize resource utilization.Maintains professional growth through participation in continuing education and professional organizations to remain current on industry trends and best practices.Key Success FactorsStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including report design and dashboard development.Skilled in Power Query and data modeling.Experience in workforce planning, labor analytics, or operational performance improvement.Strong problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset.Ability to develop detailed project plans and manage multiple priorities.Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree required (Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred).Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, workforce analytics, operational analysis, or related field.Preferred Experience:Background in Industrial Engineering or process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Healthcare workforce/labor management experience.
