The mission of the Financial Accountant R2R is to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company’s books, records and financial reports (local and USGAAP). **What you will do** + Perform accounting tasks, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements). + Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. + Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports. + Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes. + Prepare and submit VAT declarations and other compliance-related filings. + Execute internal controls, including those required under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley). + Prepare and post journal entries across different ERP systems, contributing to ongoing process improvements. + Support accounting projects, documentation efforts, and provide guidance to Junior Accountants. ​ **What you need** Required: + Fluency in English + Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent certification + Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting (e.g., GL, A2R) + Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts + Strong Excel skills + Experience in ERP systems Preferred: + Knowledge of USGAAP Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
