Financial Accountant II – Lease Team

Position Overview:
Join our team as a Financial Accountant II, where you'll play a crucial role in driving financial precision and strategic insights. This position entails managing month-end close activities, journal entries, account analyses, and lease-specific responsibilities, including ASC 842 compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, attention to detail, and a mindset for continuous improvement and collaboration.

What You'll Do:

Participate in month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare quarter-end and year-end audit schedules and conduct trend and variance analyses.Handle lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842, including percentage rent calculations and annual landlord reconciliations.Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, providing analytical insights and process improvement initiatives.Develop technical skills to enhance efficiency and maintain strong communication with team members.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).2-5 years of accounting experience; lease accounting experience preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Workday and Tango Analytics is a plus.Experience in a multi-unit environment is highly desired.

Work Location:

This role is primarily remote. Candidates must be based in Arizona, as occasional onsite presence at our Scottsdale, AZ (85255) office is required.Full-time position requiring regular attendance and team collaboration.
