We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support a company with an enviable heritage in Central London.
This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to move on from a role in an Accountancy Practice, and has some experience of audit having completed their ACCA Qualification (or equivalent).
You’ll be responsible for providing day-to-day support to staff, ensuring smooth running of the transactional accounting function, and assisting with ongoing projects.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a calm demeanour and excellent communication skills.

What you’ll be doing.
Ensure that the processing of invoices is completed to a high level, which is compliant with company processesWork with suppliers to develop strong and financially advantageous relationshipsSupervise & train colleagues and assist with escalated queriesEnsure that the relevant approvals and authorisations are obtainedCheck colleagues’ work to ensure that quality standards are maintainedLiaise with colleagues via email and in person to resolve queries and discrepancies 
What you’ll need.
At least 5 years’ experience in an Accounting roleStrong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressureStrong knowledge of transactional accounting processesACCA Qualification (or equivalent)
