Role Purpose: The Financial Accountant serves as a strategic partner in managing and optimizing financial operations for Genedata AG and its subsidiaries. This role is responsible for overseeing daily bookkeeping activities and leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. As a member of the Genedata Accounting Team, the Financial Accountant ensures seamless financial reporting, implements best practices, and supports key decision-making processes to drive business success. Responsibilities: + Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities with the Accounting Team + Review and post bank transactions, accounts payable and receivable invoices, as well as general ledger entries + Prepare and submit all necessary financial data to external accounting firms managing Genedata subsidiaries for month-end closing + Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and regulatory standards + Generate and deliver monthly financial reports, including tax and cash reporting, to Danaher Corporation Qualifications & Skills: + Minimum of five years of experience in an accounting department with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable, particularly with Certinia, Genedata’s Salesforce-based ERP system + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus + Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail + Preferred knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER and US GAAP + Familiarity with Swiss payroll regulations is an advantage Join our winning team today.
