\nWe're now looking for a Financial Accountant who will play a pivotal role in driving financial success and shaping the future of our organisation! To role is a key part of our Regional Accounting team for UKI specifically and you will be an SME for technical accounting queries, statutory accounts production and Group reporting
\n✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
\n\nPart of the statutory accounts team. Responsible for producing the statutory accounts for several legal entities through to Director & Auditor signing.\nLead initial review of BCA's for technical accounting matters, prepare feedback for discussion with Head of Regional Accounting for project Approval.\n. Work with internal & external partners / customers to foster collaboration, networking & best practice. (Attend Bonn calls and lead any required changes to approach, plus involvement with site and auditor queries)\nUndertake reviews as requested by Bonn (Divisional or Corporate)\nFlux analysis and annotations explanations as requested\nEnsure that changes to financial and process requirements are communicated and implemented promptly (process notes to be kept up to date to ensure consistency).\nLiaising with tax team for quarterly tax queries\nResponsible for overseeing the Embedded Lease Process, reviewing new embedded leases, simulating potential new additions to review expected impact\nReviewing the data used for the Hedging Process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and updating the value required to be hedged to cover the exposure.\nSME for new Statutory Reporting requirement for Climate Related financial disclosures (CFD) - liaise with other Supply Chain Divisions and the auditors to shape the external reporting requirement\nSME for Carbon reporting in Statutory accounts - responsibility for liaising with Go Green team and auditors to improve our published information\nPart of project team for ERP move to Oracle Cloud. Ensuring that accounting requirements are met and training completed upon transition to iCloud and any structural/process changes\nReview the profit reconciliations for IFRS16 reporting, to help the business forecast the impact of IFRS16 and improve the reporting process for IFRS16.\nSupport the preparation of robust and accurate reports, models, budgets and forecast working with other stakeholders.\nICON reviews and analysis\nLead actions on control findings specific to Regional Accounting team as identified through audit process\n\n\n
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
\n\nACCA/ACA Qualified or equivalent\nStrong Financial Accounting experience\nA very good level of IT skills generally including Excel, Oracle a desirable\nStrong communicator\nHighly analytical\n\n\n
