Finance Technician – Milton Keynes
We have a great opportunity at MMC for a Finance Technician to join our Client Reconciliations - Refunds Team which is part of the Accounting Operations Team.
You will be non-client facing, ensuring that all refund requests are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with established approvals, policies and procedures.
This role could suit either an experienced Finance Assistant/Administrator looking for a new challenge or possibly a Graduate looking for their first finance related role within a Global organisation.
This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes two days a week in the office.
We will rely on you to:
Ensure refund requests are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with established approvals, policies and procedures
Work in a busy environment and to be able to take on challenges.
To have good phone manner and send emails when required.
Be able to Coordinate around excel spreadsheets.
Continuously improve processes and procedures while maintaining compliance with system administration duties.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX procedures, including OFAC screening and independent verification of instructions as required by Treasury policy.
What you need to have:
Good academic background supported by good grades at A-Level and/or GCSE in subjects that include ideally Maths and/or English.
Ability to work both independently, managing own workload and within a team.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills in completing assigned tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Outlook would be an advantage.
