About the Role
As a Supervising Associate in R&DA, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business and finance leaders, delivering high-quality financial reporting analysis, management reporting, and actionable insights. You will leverage advanced analytics and technology to transform complex data into clear, strategic recommendations, supporting decision-making at the highest levels. This role requires technical proficiency, stakeholder management, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Lead the preparation of comprehensive markets, finance and management reports, including monthly performance packages with analysis, commentary, and business insights. Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts and perform competitor benchmarking to inform strategic decisions. Model projections, analyse forward-looking indicators, and conduct scenario modelling to support business planning and ad hoc analyses.Data Transformation & Technology Enablement
Manage large, complex financial data sets, transforming unstructured data into actionable insights. Design, develop, and manage dynamic, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring robust and efficient backend ETL processes. Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data, maintaining data integrity and reliability across reporting databases. Automate reporting processes and pilot improvements by incorporating AI, advanced analytics, and data management technologies.Stakeholder Management & Communication
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communications and effective addressing of reporting needs. Collaborate across functions and geographies, synthesizing business insights and driving a consistent approach to analytics and executive presentations. Prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, distilling complex financial data for both technical and non-technical audiences.Process Management & Continuous Improvement
Establish clear timelines and workflows for report delivery, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Demonstrate agility in problem-solving, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and delivering accurate results under pressure. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of reporting.Skills & Attributes for Success
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Power Pivot, Lookups, filters), Power BI, and SQL (SSMS). Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment. Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to influence outcomes without direct authority. Proactive, innovative, and committed to continuous learning and process improvement. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related fields. 5–7 years of experience in financial reporting, analytics, and business analysis, including at least 2 years as a Power BI developer. Power BI certifications are a plus. Strong spoken and written English. Experience working in a global or matrixed environment is preferred.What We Offer
