This role is responsible for evaluating financial performance through data analysis and reporting to provide insights on trends, risks and opportunities. This role provides information to guide strategic decisions related to investments, funding and resource allocation.

Applies principles of accounting and financial planning to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
•\tManages all assets within the Medical Center and ensures capitalization procedures are followed with respect to procurement budget and accounting principles.
•\tPerforms financial analysis of capital assets to evaluate performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making
•\tPrepares detailed reports on depreciations, maintenance costs, etc.
•\tAssists in development and management of budgets for capital asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
•\tEnsures compliance with GASB and internal policies related to capital asset management
•\tWorks closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to support effective capital asset management strategies
•\tCoordinates with project teams to ensure CIP is accurately recorded and placed into service timely.
•\tCoordinate physical inventory procedures.
•\tPrepares and maintains procedures for managing Fixed Assets.
•\tPerforms other area-specific activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 
Experience: 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, asset management, or a related role.
Licensure: None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Position Compensation Range: $26.24 - $52.48 Hourly
