Finance Specialist - Asset Management

				Applies principles of accounting and financial planning to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
  
  
+ Manages all assets within the Medical Center and ensures capitalization procedures are followed with respect to procurement budget and accounting principles.
  
+ Performs financial analysis of capital assets to evaluate performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making
  
+ Prepares detailed reports on depreciations, maintenance costs, etc.
  
+ Assists in development and management of budgets for capital asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
  
+ Ensures compliance with GASB and internal policies related to capital asset management
  
+ Works closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to support effective capital asset management strategies
  
+ Coordinates with project teams to ensure CIP is accurately recorded and placed into service timely.
  
+ Coordinate physical inventory procedures.
  
+ Prepares and maintains procedures for managing Fixed Assets.
  
+ Performs other area-specific activities.
  
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
  
**Education:**  Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
**Experience:**  3 years’ experience in financial analysis, asset management, or a related role.
  
**Licensure:**  None required.
  
  
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
  
  
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Hybrid modality.
  
  
Position Compensation Range: $26.24 - $52.48 Hourly
