About the role
As Finance Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in steering IQVIA Netherlands’ financial performance across all business units. Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, you will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial insight to support decision-making, drive transparency, and continuously improve financial processes.
This is a hands-on, business-facing FP&A role with real exposure to country leadership, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, improve performance, and develop a strong understanding of IQVIA’s commercial model in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What you will do
Financial planning, forecasting & reporting
Lead the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for Revenue and Costs across IQVIA NetherlandsOwn the in-quarter revenue and cost forecasting cycle, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely insights for senior managementDeliver timely and accurate monthly actuals reporting (Revenue, Costs, FTE, CAPEX, DSO, D&A), in close collaboration with local and offshore Accounting teamsBusiness partnering & insight
Act as a finance partner to the General Manager, Sales, Commercial and Functional leadersProvide clear analysis of performance, risks, and opportunities to support business decisionsChallenge assumptions and forecasts constructively to ensure ambitious yet realistic targetsSupport operating reviews, strategic planning sessions, and budget reviews with high-quality financial insightsGovernance, systems & process improvement
Advise on US GAAP and internal revenue recognition policiesDesign, coordinate, and manage analytical accounting across all Dutch legal entities, from statutory to performance accountingIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, data flows, and reporting qualityPrepare ad‑hoc analyses using systems such as SAP, Hyperion, SFDC, and other data sourcesTeam & stakeholder management
Build strong relationships with local and regional finance and operations teamsRespond to ad-hoc requests and manage finance-related projects across business unitsLine management of a Revenue Analyst (depending on scope and experience)What you bring
Experience & education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management2–4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Controlling, Audit, or Commercial FinanceExperience working in a complex, matrix-driven organization is a strong plusTechnical & analytical skills
Solid understanding of financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)Knowledge of local regulations and US GAAPStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable working with large datasetsAbility to translate business questions into meaningful financial insightsSoft skills & mindset
