We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to support our US manufacturing subsidiary within the recreational boat manufacturing industry. This senior finance professional will exhibit strong leadership skills and possess solid accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing, for-profit environment.
ResponsibilitiesLead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Manage a team of two employees, including a staff accountant and an accounts payable person.Provide guidance on bookkeeping, month-end close processes, and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with GAAP and provide oversight for quarter-end and year-end processes.Coordinate with the Swedish corporate office on group reporting, analysis, and financial updates.Support external audits and analyze financial performance, suggesting improvements.Provide insights on cash management and capital decisions.Conduct forecasting, profit analysis, cash flow forecasts, and liquidity planning.Essential SkillsBachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or similar finance roles.Experience in a manufacturing environment, either industrial or production-based.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including comfort with multi-tab workbooks (10-15 tabs) and formulas such as SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and nested IF statements.Ability to follow and update structured financial workbooks for cash forecasting, reporting, and reconciliations.Basic data validation and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in working with exported reports from accounting systems and bank portals, formatting them for reporting.Experience with pivot tables.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in an international environment.Technical accounting skills.Leadership experience.Strong communication skills.Integrity, structure, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with Power Query (helpful but not required).Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves a standard office setting with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. The role requires collaboration with international teams and involves the use of various financial reporting technologies.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
