Finance Manager
Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support organizational decision-making. Collaborating with various departments and leadership teams, you will ensure optimal resource management and contribute to the organization’s mission by delivering actionable financial insights. Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including comparisons of budget versus actual performance. • Partner with department leaders to oversee program budgets, analyze financial variances, and recommend corrective actions. • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Develop financial models and conduct scenario analyses to guide strategic planning and resource allocation. • Track and manage restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and donor specifications. • Create and deliver financial reports for stakeholders, including grantors and funders, to highlight organizational performance. • Collaborate with development and program teams to forecast expenses and revenue for grant-funded initiatives. • Present financial results and trends to executive leadership and the Board of Directors in a clear and actionable format. • Translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for non-financial staff to facilitate informed decision-making. • Assist with external audits by ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data and collaborating with auditors. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field from an accredited institution. • Minimum of three to five years of experience in financial analysis. • Proficiency in financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes. • Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey financial information clearly. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. • Commitment to collaboration and organizational mission, with a focus on achieving results.
