The role
We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who enjoys being part of the hotel operations rather than being stuck behind spreadsheets all day. You’ll be the key financial partner to the Hotel Manager and leadership team, helping turn numbers into clear actions. You’ll also work closely with department heads, guiding them on performance, budgets, and commercial priorities so the hotel can make better decisions and deliver stronger results.
What you’ll be doing:
Owning the hotel’s financial performance, reporting, forecasting, and complianceMaintaining strong control over assets, costs, revenue, and cash flow to support strong overall resultsLeading monthly results reviews and turning numbers into clear insightsPartnering with department heads to support, guide, and improve cost control and profitabilityBuilding strong working relationships with the hotel ownership group to support performance and financial reportingImproving finance processes so the team works smarter, not harderSupporting IT and procurement oversight within the hotelWhat we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but you should bring most of the following:
Junior Finance Manager (2 yrs) or an experienced Hotel Accountant looking to step upA degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar qualificationStrong commercial mindset, not just technical accounting experienceExcellent people skills and the ability to influence across departmentsSolid organisation skills and the ability to juggle prioritiesA practical, positive attitude and clear communication styleBonus points if you have:
