**Finance Manager**
**About the Role**
As a CBRE BSO Client Finance Manager, you will actively drive the account to ensure commercial targets, savings commitments and exceptional client satisfaction are achieved
This job is part of the client finance team which is responsible for supporting both our client and dedicated CBRE account team, ensuring all Countries in their portfolio have adequate financial and commercial management, control and reporting to meet both CBRE and Client requirements.
**What You’ll Do**
Corporate Financial Reporting
+ Oversee preparation of accurate corporate accounts for multiple countries and entities in line with the company timetable including full profit & loss accounts by country, entity, client site & service line
+ Prepare detailed variance analysis and commentary by general ledger code, by service line against the plan & the latest forecast
+ Review accurate and detailed balance sheet reconciliations with detailed commentary and the required supporting evidence and calculations.
+ Review detailed balance sheet performance reports providing an overview of aged debt, WIP, accruals and prepayments
+ Prepare accurate corporate P&L forecasts (monthly) and the annual plan (annually).
+ Support the annual audit process
+ Support any GWS transformation and client initiatives, working closely with other functions to ensure full alignment of deliverables and results.
+ Ad-hoc reporting as requested by the contract team
+ Provide ad-hoc support and financial analysis as required by the contract team.
Finance Processes, Procedures and Reporting
+ Support the account team to ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the term of the contract.
+ Support the account team to manage the integrity of data regarding client reporting and GWS systems.
+ Develop an understanding of how to best utilize GWS system-generated reporting capabilities.
+ Continually develop systems to maximize efficiency benefits for client & GWS.
+ Support the account team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, identify opportunities to enhance system efficiencies
Financial Governance
+ Support the account team with CBRE and statutory compliance
+ Support the account team with balance sheet integrity
+ Support the account team by ensuring revenue is recognized in line CBRE’s accounting standards and our commercial agreement
+ Support the account team by ensuring costs are recognized and recorded correctly
+ Support the account team in complying with any Global Account Standards.
Client
+ Prepare and present accurate client accounts by site by service line in line with the contractual timetable
+ Prepare detailed variance analysis and commentary by site by service line against the client’s budget, revised budget & the latest forecast
+ Prepare and maintain accurate client forecasts (monthly) and annual budgets.
+ Developing effective client relationships across the account.
+ Mange contract governance alongside the account team by demonstrating knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract
+ Assist with client requests in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Supporting ad hoc client requests
Business Partnering
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders (internal / external) work collaboratively with the Operations team, in country Finance and Client;
+ Hold regular monthly financial reviews with the operational site leads & weekly financial review meetings with the contract support team
+ Provide support to the operational leads by providing a detailed overview on financial performance (P&L & balance sheet) by site and service line
+ Support stakeholders in identifying, analyzing, and resolving potential business risks, as well as opportunities and solutions to enhance business performance.
+ Support the commercial and operational teams with identifying contractual changes requiring a CCR.
People Management
+ Line manager responsibility for team of Finance Analysts (2/3)
+ Recruit, induct, manage, motivate, and develop the team;
+ Review and advise on resourcing gaps;
+ Build, lead, and motivate a diverse and effective team;
+ Empower team members to take responsibility and accountability;
+ Carry out structured appraisals and ensure personal development plans are in place and include succession plans;
+ Supervise and review performance of individuals in the team; and
+ Conveymessages and ideas clearly and openly. Involve people and influence decisions.
+ Support the finance training to finance and operational teams.
