Finance Manager
As a Finance Controller here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical guide position within our finance team and the Jincheon manufacturing team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and driving the financial close processes for the Jincheon site. Your expertise in financial thoughtfulness and insights will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making. In this role, you will be accountable for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures specific to the Korea region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the site leadership team, the APAC and America’s finance teams, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial and manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our **Finance Director** and you’ll work out of our **Seoul** office with once a week visit to the **Jincheon** site on a hyrid work schedule. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Oversee and ensure accurate VAT , Corporate Income Tax and other critical Korean government requirements • Facilitate communications and transactions with local legal firm • Drive the financial close processes for local site, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Perform analysis of spending and variance results • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to the Korea region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations • Support external accounting audit requirements and oversee annual physical inventory • Support local statutory requirements of fixed assets and oversee annual fixed asset verification process • Serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters, representing the Korea region in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders as well as vendor and purchase order support. • Annual operating plan – lead process for site including presentation to leadership team as needed. • Monthly / weekly forecasting process for ISC spending, production credits and variances. • Ad hoc financial planning and analysis as needed to support local plant **YOU MUST HAVE** • Minimum of 6 years of experience in statutory accounting and tax controllership roles • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team • Strong thoughtful and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices **WE VALUE** • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively • Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices • Experience working in a multinational company, with exposure to global accounting and reporting requirements **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
