Finance Manager
Description We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and enhance financial operations in a dynamic and creative environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in small graphic design studios, creative agencies, or advertising firms, and a background in managing financial processes across multiple locations. The position is based in Los Angeles, California, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic planning. • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams. • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions. • Collaborate with international accounting partners to oversee financial activities in the UK. • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Coordinate with external tax advisors to manage international tax requirements and reporting obligations. • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the financial stability of the organization. • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to optimize financial operations. • Support internal teams with financial insights to enhance decision-making processes. • Monitor and enforce adherence to financial policies and ethical standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; advanced certifications are a plus. • A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven record of increasing responsibility. • Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting within a creative agency or similar environment. • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills. • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance for both domestic and international operations. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams. • Experience in succession planning or transitioning into a senior finance role is an advantage.
