Finance Manager Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Location: Warrington Role: Permanent (2 days Hybrid)

A leading global company is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team. With a salary of £50,000–£60,000, this role offers responsibility, influence, and the chance to drive business performance. You’ll lead on financial management, reporting, and compliance, while supporting growth and strategy in a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued and your career can progress.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s finance function, leading on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance and delivering the insights needed to guide strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial management including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards. Lead annual budget preparation and long-term financial planning with senior stakeholders. Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and maintain effective treasury operations. Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements. Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

About You

A qualified accountant with proven finance leadership experience, ideally gained in a complex or fast-paced organisation. You’ll combine technical expertise with strong communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders and add value across the business.

Essential Requirements:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent). Demonstrable experience in finance management or a senior accounting role. Strong technical accounting and reporting skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced Excel and experience with modern accounting software. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
