Job Description

The role of Consultant, Private Market Operations involves supporting the implementation of Chronograph as a portfolio monitoring solution, primarily focusing on Real Estate and Credit investments. The primary responsibility is to provide end-to-end support to investment and investment operations teams during the system implementation. This includes investment onboarding onto the platform, data capture, validation and management, and reporting. The position requires teamwork and collaboration with Middle Office, Investment Operations, Investments, and IT.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify, collect, and update data from multiple sources to meet portfolio monitoring system requirements.Analyze internal and external data inputs, ensuring analytical outputs and reporting accuracy and reasonability.Support the identification of issue root causes by collaborating with internal teams.Regulate information flow from various parts of the organization to investment teams.Establish new business processes, including roles and responsibilities associated with the target state support model for the portfolio monitoring solution.Provide expertise in Real Estate finance/operations, with additional knowledge in Credit investments being advantageous.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsFund accountingPrivate Market InvestmentsCPA, CA, CFAInvestment ManagementInvestment OperationsReportingCredit InvestmentsReal Estate InvestmentsAnalysisPortfolio reportingA university degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related discipline5+ years of experience in investment management, particularly in Investment Finance or OperationsKnowledge of Private Market Investments and Private Market Valuations (Real Estate, Credit)Additional Skills & QualificationsRelevant professional designation (CPA, CFA) is an assetExperience in the asset management industryPrior experience with portfolio reportingStrong analytical ability and problem-solving skillsAccounting, Reconciliation, Month end, NAVImplementation experienceKnowledge of Yardi, SQL, VBA, Macros

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
