Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join a well-established, innovative organisation based in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead finance operations and contribute strategically to business growth while working in a collaborative environment.

This is a permanent, part-time vacancy with no less that 24 hours/week, spread out over 3-4 days, in the office.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementPrepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present findings to senior managementOversee balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and statutory accounts preparationManage audit processes and act as the primary liaison with external auditorsIdentify financial risks and opportunities, proposing solutions to support business objectivesSupervise and develop the finance team, including payroll, VAT, and HMRC complianceCollaborate with various departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planningDrive improvements in financial systems, controls, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracySkills and QualificationsProven experience (typically 5+ years) in a finance management role or similarStrong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing statutory accountsExcellent analytical, communication, and leadership skillsProficiency in financial software (Sage) and advanced Excel skills, including financial modellingAbility to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teamsRelevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent is highly desirableExperience with audit processes and regulatory complianceWhat We OfferA supportive and forward-thinking work environmentPensionCompetitive salary and benefits packageAnnual salary reviewAttractive leave packageFree parkingHuge progression & development opportunitiesCompany profit sharingThe chance to make a significant impact within a well-established company
