Description We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Elkmont, Alabama, at an industry leading company. In this role, you will serve as a key financial partner, working closely with operations and reporting directly to the VP of the Southern region. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and engagement with large-scale financial processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee cost inputs and collaborate closely with operations to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare detailed budget forecasts and manage comprehensive financial planning processes. • Analyze inventory data and conduct audits to maintain financial integrity. • Generate monthly financial reports that provide actionable insights for leadership. • Support large-scale financial operations. • Coordinate with the corporate office to utilize shared services for accounting and operational tasks. • Travel occasionally to company locations to ensure alignment with financial strategies. • Conduct cost analyses and evaluate return on investment for operational decisions. • Partner with leaders to implement and monitor financial strategies across multiple hatcheries. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and contribute to continuous process improvement. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory analysis, and manufacturing finance. • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. • Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software or similar platforms. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with operations teams on financial matters. • Proactive and efficient approach to problem-solving and team collaboration. • Familiarity with the poultry industry is preferred but not required. • Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
